Press Release:
COUNTDOWN TO ZANOG@iWEEK2026, SPONSOR SLOTS STILL AVAILABLE
Published on: 2026-03-09With scarcely two months to go until ZANOG@iWeek2026 kicks off in April,
ISPA reminds delegates to register at no cost at iweek.org.za/registration.
ISPA is SA’s official internet Industry Representative Body (IRB) and an event partner with ZANOG (the South African Network Operators Group), a community-driven organisation made up of internet professionals from South Africa’s network operators.
This year, iWeek will return to SA’s economic heartland as the country’s leading internet industry gathering is set down for 21 to 23 April 2026 at the Irene Country Lodge in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Display table sponsorships for ZANOG@iWeek2026 are still available, as is the Gigabyte sponsorship. Telcables is helping to keep the annual iWeek event free by securing the Exabyte sponsorship, while Flexoptix is this year’s Petabyte sponsor.
Adtran has come on board as the coffee station supplier (critical infrastructure!), and the ZA Registry Consortium (ZARC) remains a much appreciated ZANOG@2026 supporter.
Notable this year is the fact that 2026 marks 30 years since the founding of ISPA after competing ISPs united in a move that would create competition with Telkom in the local market. ISPA, its members and supporters have made tremendous progress in liberalising access to the SA internet over the past three decades.
Regular networking events like iWeek where ideas flow freely and valuable contacts are made have been key to ISPA’s success over the past decades.
Notwithstanding significant past achievements, there is still much work to be done to improve the penetration, quality and cost of the internet in SA.
For this reason, ISPA has chosen ‘Towards Universal and Meaningful Connectivity’ as the theme for the first day of ZANOG@ iWeek 2026.
In addition to the always-anticipated keynote address, attendees can look forward to iWeek sessions that include deep dives into the internet industry landscape, technology disruption and innovation, business sustainability, cybersecurity and resilience, skills and collaboration, domains, DNS and internet governance, regulatory issues as well as an FNO workshop.
Established in 1996, ISPA is a recognised Industry Representative Body which currently represents some 240 members with a diverse range of internet services and target markets.
