Dhashina is an admitted attorney of the High Court in South Africa and a certified Ethics Officer with the Ethics Institute of South Africa. She holds an LLB degree and is currently a Manager within the Regulatory team at Deloitte Consulting Services, where she plays a strategic role in navigating complex compliance landscapes and providing regulatory advisory services to clients across various sectors and industries.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Dhashina worked at NTT Data Inc. as a Specialist for Data Privacy and Protection where she deepened her expertise in data protection. Her experience in this role sparked a strong interest in the evolving landscape of privacy rights. However, motivated by a desire to expand her impact, Dhashina sought out broader opportunities and chose to return to Deloitte, where she had initially began her career, with a goal to growing her skill set, positioning herself for a more strategic role within an integrated regulatory compliance and risk management space – where legal insights, compliance and risk strategies, ultimately converge.

Her professional interests lie in the ethical use of personal data and the protection of individual rights across diverse jurisdictions. Dhashina is passionate about fostering transparency, embedding ethical leadership into operational structures and translating regulatory requirements into actionable strategies that support both compliance and innovation.
