Marc Furman is Legal Manager for Internet Solutions. He has occupied this position since 2002. With a BA LLB from Wits University, Marc is an admitted attorney and is responsible for legal matters at IS, including the drafting of standard contracts, the negotiation of corporate agreements, labour law, and related matters.
One of Marc’s primary focuses is on regulatory issues, ranging from input in the various legislative processes underway in the telecommunications arena to the handling of IS’ regulatory requirements with Telkom, ICASA and other parties.
Marc represents IS on the Executive Committee of the Communication Users Association of South Africa (CUASA) and chairs ISPA’s Fair Competition Working Group.
